Shiretown Inn and Suites accommodates

    Shiretown Motor Inn is renovated and has changed its name to define it’s new image, while setting a theme for future expansions.
  The Shiretown Inn and Suites (formerly just Shiretown Motor Inn) had 20 units destroyed by fire in May 2007. Those units were constructed in the 1960s. To replace that loss, 17 new deluxe units are now standing in their place.  These units are lavishly furnished and feature 42 inch plasma televisions.      “Once guests see these new  rooms, they sell themselves,” said Marty Gervais, general manager.
  The Shiretown  Inn and Suites offers 57 clean, comfortable rooms at a competitive price.  The Inn is open 24 hours and employees 13 fulltime staff, along with 25 part time workers.
    “Customer service is everything,” said Gervais. “All guests have individual needs, and we try our best to accommodate them. A clean, comfortable room is not good enough anymore. In order to survive in this business, we continually focus on the needs and desires of the customers. We change with the market, and listen to what is important to our guests.”
   The Shiretown  Inn and Suites has daily and weekly accommodations, as well as monthly rentals of regular rooms, deluxe rooms, along with suites and apartments both furnished with full kitchens.
    The Shiretown Inn and Suites also houses the Shiretown Health Club, which is open daily and has a heated indoor pool and a fully equipped weight room and tanning bed. Hotel guests use the facility at no charge. Individuals not staying at the hotel may use the club for a nominal  fee.  Memberships are available for day use, monthly, three months, six months, or a year.
  Birthday pool parties  are very popular on the weekends at the health club, and the club is also available to rent for, reunions, private parties or wedding receptions. A new 1,500 square foot  deck  has also just been constructed to provide more room for functions in the warmer months.
 For those who are looking for entertainment, look no further than the Lounge Downunder, which is open from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Live entertainment is featured on the weekends.
