The Patten Woman's Club was held the seventh annual judging of the Sweet Pea Garden Contest Sunday, August 4. Fifteen gardens were planted in the Patten Academy Alumni Park early this summer by area businesses and individuals. Gardeners tended the gardens throughout the summer for all visitors to the park to enjoy. The Patten Woman's Club maintains the park with the help of members from the community.
