One may be hardpressed to find a pizza lover in Aroostook County who isn’t familiar with Reno’s Family Restaurant.

Opened on Friday, Nov. 13, 1965, and incorporated in 1980, Reno’s does pizza with aplomb.
Of course, pizza isn’t all Renaud, Nelson and Danny Corriveau – the three “Reno’s” brothers – can dish up for guests of their family-owned restaurant.
The Corriveau and their staff of seven full-time and 17 part-time employees serve three meals a day, from delicious homemade toast and savory omelets at the crack of dawn to homemade subs and old-fashioned pizza burgers at high noon to whole clam dinners in the evening.
The restaurant is open seven days a week, from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
Reno’s provides take-out service and full service dining complete with a salad bar and a partially open kitchen, allowing a curious onlooker the opportunity to watch the Reno’s staff prepare all the food that locals enjoy. Like a well-oiled machine, service is fast and courteous without any pretense. Food is hot and delicious.
“It’s no secret why we have stayed in business in this region,” said Danny Corriveau. “We work hard, we provide quality service and a quality food product.”
It is clear that hard work, service and excellent food are keys to surviving in the food business, but the Reno’s family tradition goes beyond just the basics.
“Customer service is very important,” said Corriveau. “A satisfied customer will lead to repeat business. We serve many customers two and some three times a day.”
With the Corriveaus, family is the heart of their business.
“Brothers working together, the art of pizza making being passed down from brother to brother. Quality and family still counts today as it did over 40 years ago,” Corriveau said.
Coming from the co-owner of Reno’s, that statement makes perfect sense. After all, “family” is the middle name of their resturant.
