Demand brings independent film to Temple

    “Fireproof,” an independent Christian-themed film about firefighters and a failing marriage that needs saving has garnered so much interest that Mike Hurley has booked it into the Temple Theater starting Friday, October 17.   The Temple is the first movie house in Maine to show the film and projections are for a boost to the local economy due to a strong grass-roots effort to bring film buffs from as far away as Caribou and New Brunswick. The movie stars Kirk Cameron.
