Aroostook County youth between the ages of 8 and 12 are invited to join Maine Winter Sports Center staff for outdoor-based skills and fitness sessions with a focus on fun. The program will feature activities such as mountain biking, trail running, outdoor games, roller skiing and orienteering.
Each location will host an eight-week program, and rides from local schools are available. There is no fee to participate.
At Caribou, the site is the Caribou High School Ski Center and the meeting times are Tuesdays from 3-5 p.m.
