CCDM to host ‘Kounty Kids Got Talent’ Nov.23

    Members of the Caribou Children’s Discovery Museum are busy planning their next fund-raiser  which will be the ‘Kounty Kids Got Talent’, scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. at the Caribou Performing Arts Center. Tickets are available now at Caribou Food Trend, 2nd Hand Rose and Mr. Paperback in Caribou; the Aroostook Centre Mall in Presque Isle; Ezzy’s Music Shop in Van Buren and Daigle’s Furniture in Madawaska.     Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.
    Tryouts for the ‘Kounty Kids Got Talent’ will be held 9 a.m., Sat., Nov.15, at the Caribou Performing Arts Center. All students from ages 5 to 16 qualify for the tryouts.
    There will be a $10 registration fee. Age divisions include 10 years-of-age and under and 11—16 year-olds. Prizes will be awarded to the first-place winner in each division.
    Talent catagories include: actor (comedy, magician, juggler), dancer, singer and musician.
    One-hundred percent of all entry fees benefit the Caribou Children’s Discovery Museum.
