The Caribou Pet Rescue’s Board of Directors wishes to inform the public of its’ decision to close the shelter’s doors on or before December 31. Due to long term viability and tough economic times, this difficult decision was made after a special meeting held Nov.6. The press release from the board of directors stated, “Rest assured that Caribou Pet Rescue will honor all existing town contracts until the end of the year and that CPR will be working with surrounding shelters to place any and all animals before year’s end.”
“We need your help now more than ever. If you were considering adding a permanent family member to your home, please consider one of these animals.
If you are able to financially support the shelter, any amount would be whole-heartedly appreciated."
