FORT FAIRFIELD – Stanley Vaughn Randall, 76, husband of Eglantine (Gagnon) Randall, passed away November 15, 2008. He was born on September 15, 1932, in Mapleton. He was the son of the late Opal and Ellery Randall of Mapleton. Stanley attended Mapleton schools and was employed as a mechanic. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors – fishing, camping and hunting. Stanley especially enjoyed country music dances.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Randall was predeceased by brothers, Erlin Randall and Wendell Randall; and sisters, Betty Williamson and Lois Ostrowski and granddaughter, Amy Hughes. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Eglantine; their six children and their spouses, Debbie Randall and Richard Morrison, Patrick Randall, Patty Marquis and Peter Marquis, Tim Randall and Robin Randall, Jeff Randall, Ann Randall; his grandchildren, Robert Williams, Melissa Williams, Dianna Williams, Nicolas Hughes, Chris Randall, Justin Randall, Sean Randall, Bradley Dow, Olivia Randall; also his siblings, Charlotte Turner, Gail Carlson, Peter Randall and numerous nieces and nephews.
