Terrier receives Boston Post Cane

    Pearl Terrier, 99, the town of Limestone’s oldest citizen, was recently presented with the Boston Post Cane Award, at the Presque Isle Rehab and Nursing facility where she is a patient.

    Pearl Terrier, at center, was recently presented the Boston Cane Award in honor of being Limestone’s oldest citizen. The prestigious award was presented by Limestone Town Manager Donna Bernier, left, and Mrs. Terrier’s daughter Linda Calkins. The honoree celebrated her 99th birthday, July 22, this year.

    The award recipient has been a resident of Limestone for many years and still enjoys playing cards and bingo. The community of Limestone, her family and friends congratulate her on this award and wish her well.
    Donna Bernier, town manager of Limestone, made the Boston Post Cane Award presentation to Mrs. Terrier. Also taking part in the elite award presentation were Mrs. Terrier ‘s daughter, Linda Calkins; granddaughters Kathy Theriault and Andrea Edgecomb and other friends of the family.
