PIHS receives $500 grant from ExxonMobil

PRESQUE ISLE HIGH SCHOOL has received a $500 grant from the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program to support the school’s guidance department. The company worked with Suzanne Hews, PIHS guidance counselor, to secure the grant, which is one of 4,000 available to schools across the country served by Exxon or Mobil stations.

The grants were made possible by funding from the Exxon Mobil Corp. Pictured are, from left: Hews and Kevin Lucas, manager of Mobil’s On the Run Convenience Store in Presque Isle. The funds have been earmarked to support career and college exploration for the students of PIHS.
