All of the 2009 honors students pitched in as part of their senior project to prepare a free dinner using Anna Caron’s mother’s recipe for fettuccini alfredo and salad which they served at the Gentle Memorial Building – The Rec Center.
Dustin Delano said guests for the dinner enjoyed the meal and he had a good time talking with them for their NHS group project.
The Umbrella of Care is a voluntary unfunded outreach that started nearly five years ago to offer food and fellowship to local residents on the last Sunday of the month at The Rec Center. The Honor Society broke up into teams for cooking, serving and cleanup. They agree they would love to do it again.
