Soccer players, cheerleaders, golfers and XC runners recognized at Caribou High

Most Valuable Players also presented at fall awards night
    The Vikings fall athletes were recognized at Caribou High School the night of Oct. 27, beginning with girls’ JV and varsity soccer.

    Junior varsity Coach Sue Ouellette presented letters to the following players: Missy Nadeau, Molli Cullins, Erin Madore, Amanda Violette, Rachel Jordan, Madison Outing, Danielle Soucy, Renee Dube, Riley Parady, Elizabeth Keaton, Sarae Sager, Elisha Willey, Cory Marrett, Morgan Swan, Brandi Rossignol, Brianna Gorence, Samantha Murchison, Danielle MacDonald, Annie Collins, Katie Keaton, Kayla Collins, and Manager Ben Wyman.   
    Todd Albert coached the varsity girls’ soccer. Letters went to Morgan Swan, Tia McHatten, Paige Small, Jamie Martin, Tori Wong, Jessica Zbylut and Managers Demarre Doody-Corriveau and Kate Bell.
    Emily Anderson, Elizabeth Barbosa, Lydia Kieffer, Jenna Selander and Tori Dorman were awarded plaques while trophy recipients were Erin Buck, Abby Small, Brittany Doak, and Emily Collins.
    Fourth year athletes Meagan Bossie, Amanda Cyr, Meg Bosse, Katie Ouellette, Kristen Espling, and Manager Kayla Schurman were given jackets.
    Golf coach Neal Genz presented certificates to Dustin Denbow, Ben Wyman, Matt Kamm, and Reggie Rideout.
    A letter went to Caleb Chapman, and a plaque was awarded to Patrick Thibodeau.         Lance Lamothe and Nathan Swan received trophies and jackets were presented to Ellis Pelletier and Taylor Jepson.   
    Fall cheerleading, coached by Brandi Makepeace, consisted of letter-winners Emily Keaton, Jessica Devoe, Erin Kinney, Natasha Bishop, Desiree LaVallee, Elsa Thibodeau, Sarah Peterson, Hannah Saucier, Elainee Norris, Megan Bechard, Taylor Willette, Ashley Johndro, Janelle Kernan, and Courtney Hamlin.
    Brad Holabird coaches this seasons boys’ junior varsity soccer. Letters were awarded to Joshua Kovach, Kevin Strid, Brandon Holdsworth, Garrett Jordan, Dylan Cyr, Ethan Stetson, Adam Chartier, Jerry DePriest, Ryan Plante, Dylan Ouellette, Cole Sirois, DJ Flynn, Ezra Duplissie Cyr, Zachary Tardie, Preston Jackson, Cody Carmichael, and Managers Bruce Brayall and Jacob Atcheson.
    Philip St. Peter was the only athlete awarded a jacket for boys’ varsity soccer this season. Coach Mark Shea presented trophies to Ethan McDuffie, Eric Brown, Seth Sager, Chad McCarthy and Brandon Caverhill.
    Plaques were awarded to Nate Rossignol, Cameron Anderson, and Nick James, while letters went to Chad Caverhill, Matt Till, Ben Blackstone, Roland Thibodeau, Stephen St. Peter, Jon Ouellette, Jared Sleeper, Evan Susee, Ted Walker and Manager Dan St. Peter.
    In girls’ varsity cross-country, JV letter recipients were Lacy Cyr, Nicole Cyr, Ashley Ouellette, and Morgan Doody, and Varsity letters went to Kelly Kashian, Ashley Clark, and Katelyn Plourde.
    Coach Thomas Beckum presented plaques to Laura Collins, Dayna Michaud, Breanna Randolph, Mary Jo Sheehan, and Kaysie Pelletier.
    Ally Pizutti was the only trophy recipient, and Hannah Saunders earned a jacket.
    Phil Smith, Jesse Sandstrom, and Kyle McEwen each received a letter for JV boys’ cross country. varsity letter recipients were Joe Sturzl, Jon Brewer, Chris Nadeau, Zachary Foster, Robbie Kiehn, Jacob Michaud, and Managers Kelsey Morin, Christine Kashian, Serena Grier, and Brittney Shields.
    Coach Roy Alden presents plaques to Jesse Stephens, Finn Bondeson, and Christian Sleeper. Steven Melbourne and Manager Justin Wilcox were awarded trophies.
    The final awards, Most Valuable Player, were presented to Ellis Pelletier (varsity golf), Eric Brown (boys’ varsity soccer), Jenna Selander (girls’ varsity soccer), Stephen Melbourne and Jesse Stephens (boys’ varsity cross country running), Robbie Kiehn (boys’ J.V. cross country), Hannah Saunders (girls varsity cross-country running), Breanna Randolph (girls’ J.V. cross-country running), Garrett Jordan (boys’ J.V. soccer) and Morgan Swan (girls’ J.V. soccer).
