Some time ago, the Caribou Fire and Ambulance planted a tree near the Caribou Statue in the center of the City so that the City would have a “City Tree” for Christmas.
“This year, the Caribou Fire and Ambulance has taken over the management of the City of Caribou Christmas lights and we needed new LED lights for our new City Tree,” said Caribou Fire Chief Roy Woods.
“Councilor Albert felt strongly that the tree needed to be lit this year and chose to finance the purchase of the lights.,” Chief Woods added, “ we would like to publicly offer our thanks to him for his generous support of this project.”
