ALL SMILES — Elaine (Tessie) Barrett is all smiles after being recognized for her years of volunteer work in the Headstart/pre-school programs in the Southern Aroostook Community School District. Barrett started volunteering in 1995 in the Headstart Program in Dyer Brook. When the pre-school program moved to Southern Aroostook Community School, Barrett followed in their tiny footsteps. Loved by the children, “Grammie Tessie” enjoys every minute she spends with them.
According to Barrett, each day with the children brings forth new experiences. Barrett resides in Oakfield with her son Bruce.
