HOULTON – Maine's public universities will offer more than 30 health care courses at University College at Houlton during the upcoming spring semester, which begins in January. The courses will be taught on-site at the center or delivered via interactive television, teleconference and online.
The courses will appeal to people seeking credentials or skill development in health care. Students taking courses at the center can earn certificates in Dental Assisting, Holistic Health, Foods and Nutrition, and Health Policy and Management as well as degrees in Dental Hygiene, Medical Lab Technology and Nursing.
