Richardson named DAR candidate

    Caleb Richardson, son of Scott and Penny Richardson of Houlton, has been named the DAR Good Citizen candidate from Houlton High School. Caleb was nominated by the faculty and voted on by members of the senior class. He will be entered in the DAR Good Citizen Scholarship contest.

DAR CANDIDATE — Caleb Richardson, a senior, has been selected as the Houlton High School DAR Good Citizen candidate for 2009. He is the son of Scott and Penny Richardson of Houlton.
    Richardson was selected on the basis of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.
    The opportunity to participate in the DAR Good Citizens’ program and scholarship contest is extended and sponsored by Katahdin Valley, Lydia Putnam Chapter, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
