Signups for 7-8 grade boys/girls AYBL announced
    Aroostook Youth Basketball League (AYBL) is an organization committed to providing competitive basketball opportunities for youth in Grades 3-8, serving as a feeder program for high school basketball teams.  
    Youth have an opportunity to play on a team, with a 10-14 game schedule, participating in games at home and away in towns like Presque Isle, Caribou, Madawaska and Fort Kent.  
    If you are a girl or boy in the 7-8 grade and you are interested in playing, please e-mail Marty Bouchard at mabouchard@msln.net or call 532-6551. The season runs from about Jan. 31 until April 11.
Coach needed for girls’ 7-8 grade AYBL

    If you have basketball experience and are interested in coaching the 7-8 grade girls’ AYBL team, please e-mail Marty Bouchard at mabouchard@msln.net as soon as possible or call 532-6551.  The season runs from about Jan. 31until April 11.
Dinner to benefit Parker Walker’s Puerto Rico trip
    A spaghetti dinner, with French bread, dessert and drinks, to benefit Parker Walker’s Puerto Rico trip will be held on January 31 from 5-7 p.m. at the Island Falls Snow Sled Club. All proceeds go toward Walker’s Coast to Coast baseball trip. There will also be three raffles held throughout the night. The first is a 42-inch Flat screen HD TV; second, a twin-size baseball quilt made by a local craftier and third, a $25 gift certificate to Spring Break Maple & Honey in Smyrna.  Dinner is $6 for adults and $4 for a child under 12.
