Chamber Society to present concerts

    The Northern Maine Chamber Society Orchestra will present two winter concerts.
    The Presque Isle concert will be performed on Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. at the Campus Student Center at UMPI.
    The Houlton concert will be  at the First Congregational Church on High Street, Jan. 25 at 2 p.m.  Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.
    The orchestra is in its fourth year with conductor Waldo Caballero who teaches in Orono and plays viola with the Bangor Symphony.
    Houlton area participants include Phoenix Crockett, Rueline Geishecker, Gary Johnson and Harrison Roper.
