Arrangements in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle. PRESQUE ISLE – Andrea Corriveau, 53, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, at a Mars Hill health care facility. She was born in St. Rose Dudegelis, Quebec, Canada on Sept. 26, 1955, the daughter of George and Rita (Michaud) Desrosiers.
She worked as a Certified Nurses Aid. Andrea married Leo Corriveau in July 1977. They enjoyed traveling and spent 28 years winters in Florida. She is survived by her husband Leo of Presque Isle; three brothers, Regis and his wife Josee Desrosiers, Alain, and Serge and his wife Maryse, all of Quebec; a half-brother, Claude Desrosiers of Windsor Lock, Conn. and a half-sister, France Ouellette of Quebec; two nephews and one niece, Yanick, Kevin and Chantale; a great- niece Kayla; step-children and their spouses, Caroline and Mike and their children and grandkids; Sally and Leo and their children and grandkids; Dolly and Carroll and their children, Jesse and his children, Wayne and JoAnn and their child, Gail and David and their children; a special granddaughter Italia; special friends Leona, Karen, Rachael, Georgia, Pastor Lawrence Beals, Father Dave Raymond, Father Fred Irving; an extra special nurse Elaine, and all the staff at the Mars Hill Nursing Home.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Sat., Jan. 17, 2009, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mars Hill with the Rev. David Raymond Celebrant. Spring interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle. Condolences may be expressed at www.duncan-graves.com.
