A Good Samaritan recently brought a large batch of extra food supplies for the free pet-food pantry, operated by the Friends of Madawaska Lake Homeless Cats and the Presque Isle Animal Hospital Caribou Clinic on Herschel Street in Caribou. There is both dry and canned dog and cat food available. Anyone experiencing a difficult time this winter, who could use assistance with pet food may stop by the Caribou Clinic of the PIAH, or pick up some pet items and deliver it to a family you know of that may be having a difficult time. The Caribou Clinic is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m.— 6 p.m.
This groups is constantly looking for Good Sams to help keep the food pantry stocked and anyone may contribute by brining in a box or bag of pet food into the clinic to help families keep their pets well fed during the cold winter months.
