THEY’VE GOT YOUR NUMBERS — Rotary President Fred Grant, left, and fellow Rotarians Christian Putnam, center, and Scott White get ready for the big bingo event to raise money for the youth exchange program.
The club is sponsoring its first Bingo event tonight at St. Anthony’s Hall on Military Street. The proceeds from this event will support the club’s annual Youth Exchange Program for local high school students.
Just $4 will buy you an early bird game sheet with others available for a variety of prices. The club plans to pay out more than $1,000 in cash prizes. You must be at least 16 years of age to play.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the early-bird games begin at 6:30 with the regular games starting at 7 p.m.
PRACTICING — Houlton Rotarians practiced their Bingo skills at their weekly luncheon Monday. Salvation Army Captain Steve Pearl and Rod Palmer learn the new ‘lingo’ for bingo — daubers, blackout, four-corners and more. Try your hand at Bingo night, Wednesday, March 18 at St. Anthony’s Hall at the Catholic Church in Houlton, starting at 6:30 p.m. for the early birds.
