LEARNING TO SKI — Southside students had the opportunity to go down hill skiing at Big Rock in Mars Hill for their Ski for Life program. Ski for Life is a program where students ski at a reduced price and receive instruction from Big Rock's ski instructors. The 21st Century After School Program provided four Fridays for students to travel to Big Rock for a fun filled evening of skiing or snowboarding. Suzann Lawlor and Margaret Hill accompanied more than 60 students from Southside School to the mountain.
