PRESQUE ISLE — Thinking of a career change? Looking to enter or re-enter the workforce? Want to plan for a long-term career, and not just look for a job? Take control of your planning process while attending a career exploration series provided by Women, Work & Community.      Suzanne Senechal-Jandreau, regional manager of WWC, said, “This five-session workshop series is designed to help you plan for a career that will match who you are while planning for long-term financial goals by identifying interests, skills and work experience and linking those to viable career fields, while examining the labor market. As a result, you can explore education and training options and develop a career action plan to achieve goals you set for yourself.”
The series starts on May 13, and runs for five consecutive Wednesdays at Northern Maine Community College until June 10, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Men and women are encouraged to attend and it is offered at no cost to participants, but pre-registration is required. Call 764-0050 to register or for more information.
WWC is a statewide organization committed to improving the economic lives of Maine women and their families.
