HOULTON, SANFORD and CANADA – Brittney E. Francis, 22, died unexpectedly April 17, 2009, at Sanford. She was born Feb. 9, 1987, at Houlton, the daughter of Ralph Joseph and Ruth Zoey (Murphy) Smith.
After her mother’s death Brittney was adopted by her aunt Cathrine Murphy Francis.
She is survived by her father of Sanford and Mother of N.S., Canada; one son, Ricky Leslie Brackett of Sanford; four brothers, Stephen, Scottie, James and Ryan; four sisters, Carrie, Michelle, Nevaeh and Mariah; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends called at Dunn Funeral Home, 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services were held in Eskasoni, NS, Canada. Burial will take place in the Littleton Cemetery at a later date. www.dunnfuneral.com.
