Drost, Ella, 80, Washburn, in Presque Isle, April 26, 2009. Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

 

Image    WASHBURN – Ella Drost, 80, went to be with her Lord and beloved husband, Perry, on Sunday, April 26, 2009, at a Presque Isle health care facility. She was born in Ashland on Nov. 17, 1928, the daughter of Denis and Delena (Morin) Michaud.
    Ella worked many years at Green Acres restaurant in Caribou and at Potato Service, Inc. in Presque Isle. She loved music, especially gospel music and Hank Williams.
    She is survived by five sons, Perry Jr. of Parsonfield, Adrian of Washburn, Lester of Auburn, WA, Roger of Huntington, CA, Timothy of Dorfen, Germany; two daughters, Rosa MacIntosh of Westfield and Donella Nichols of Limestone; a brother, Lewis Michaud of Nashua, NH;  three sisters, Winnifred Spellman of Nashua, NH, Jane Kenard and Ozline Fisher of Caribou; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Perry in 1991; her parents; a sister, Delia Michaud; a brother, Percy Michaud; and a grandson, Michael Drost.
    Relatives and friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at  Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. George McLaughlin  officiating. Interment will be in Lyndon Cemetery, Caribou.
