PRESQUE ISLE – The United Way of Aroostook recently elected Gary Hebert, store manager for U.S. Cellular in Presque Isle, to its board of directors. The United Way works in every Aroostook County community to offer solutions to today’s problems. The organization actively seeks donations to be distributed to health and human service agencies and their programs so that they may provide the services needed in the community.
“We are extremely excited to have Gary serve on our board of directors,” said Bonnie Foster, president of the United Way of Aroostook. “Gary has been a great supporter of the United Way and an active community leader. His leadership skills and deep roots in the area will greatly benefit the United Way.”
Hebert has been with U.S. Cellular for more than 15 years. He currently leads and manages the Presque Isle retail store location. As store manager, his responsibilities are to effectively guide the store associates to deliver the best customer satisfaction.
Hebert has a bachelor’s degree in business from Husson College and is currently pursuing a master’s degree from Husson, as well. Hebert and his wife, Jola, reside in Caribou with their children, Hannah, 14, and Dawson, 9.
