At the county’s first track meet of 2009, Caribou hosted Foxcroft, Presque Isle, Ellsworth, Fort Fairfield, Limestone, Hermon, Dexter and Fort Kent on May 9. The meet was called early because of lightning, but the Caribou boys and girls teams took first with 126 points and 129.33 points respectively. Both Presque Isle teams finished second with the boys at 68.5 points and the girls at 77. For the Tigers, the girls finished third with 55 points while the boys took seventh with 21. The Limestone Eagles teams finished in ninth with the girls who had two points and the boys with 10.
