The fifth annual Clark’s Hill ‘Paint the Lupine’ Festival will be held on Thursday, June 18 at the Yellow House B&B in Oakfield from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“The gorgeous wild lupine fields sometimes offer 24 different colors, a painter’s paradise,” said organizer Gina Clark.
Bring your lawn chair, table and supplies if you wish to paint, sketch or draw. Also bring your cold potluck picnic dish to share with other participants. Innkeeper, Clark will supply paper plates, napkins, cups and cutlery. Tea will be served in the afternoon with Peggy’s Cove homemade gingerbread compliments of the Yellow House B&B.
Other items to include are your camera, bathing suit and towel for relaxation in the outside spa.
The B&B is located off I-95, Exit 286. The event is free to the public and the deadline to register is June 8. Call Clark at 757-8797 or e-mail gclark@letstravelagain.com or visit the Web site, www.yellowhousebedandbreakfast.com.
