The Caribou Historical Society will be hosting its annual Open House on Saturday, June 13 from 11a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Museum, located at 1033 Presque Isle Road. Visitors are encouraged to view the displays, visit the One Room Schoolhouse and enjoy a walk on the Harriet Cousins Nature Trail. Special prices on historical books will be in effect and refreshments will be available. Bring the family. Everyone is welcome.
Summer hours at the Caribou Historical Society will begin June 18, these hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from noon until 4 p.m.
The cultural museum is currently displaying Civil War, World War I and World War II resource materials, artifacts and model replicas. This display is available for viewing on Saturdays, May 16 – June 6, from noon to 4 p.m.
