AUGUSTA — The Maine Health Access Foundation (MeHAF), the state’s largest private health funder, is pleased to announce the election of Connie Sandstrom, of Presque Isle, to its Board of Trustees. Sandstorm is executive director of the Aroostook County Action Program, where she has served for 20 years.
Previously Sandstrom worked as a medical technologist, administrative director of a clinical laboratory and director of human resources in a healthcare environment. Connie serves on the boards of Northern Maine Community College Foundation, Maine Community Action Association, Mark and Emily Turner Foundation, Aroostook Regional Transportation Systems and has chaired the Eastern Maine HomeCare Board since its inception in 2006.
