Clark, Bruce P., 66, Battle Creek, MI and Caribou, in Caribou, April 27, 2009.

 

ImageImageBruce Paul Clark was a patient at The Maine Veteran's Home when he died April 27, 2009 after a long battle with cancer. Bruce was born November 28, 1942 in Battle Creek, MI.
    He graduated from Battle Creek Central High School. He served two years in the U.S. Army and was stationed at a radar site in Caribou, ME.  When he was discharged from the Army he returned home to Battle Creek, where he was employed for many years at Eaton Manufacturing.
    He moved to CA in 1990 where he resided until 2006.  While in CA he worked at Castle (Amusement) Park in Riverside. These were the happiest days of his life unless he was fishing on a lake or the ocean.
    He was married to Janice Sykes and is survived by his son Kenneth Clark, wife Amy, 3 grandsons, 2 step-granddaughters and one step-great granddaughter all of Winchester, KS.  
He also is survived by his mother Iris (Peck) Clark, sister Regina (Clark) Winters and her family whom reside in CA., and a brother, Jim Head, wife Shirley and their family whom live in Bellevue, MI. and his step-mother Violet (Thompson) Clark, half brothers Max Jr., Henry and step brother Larry Wykle of Battle Creek, MI. and step-sister Ruthann (Wykle) Cross of Worchester, MA.   Special thanks go to cousin David Wright for being there for Bruce and his family during his final days. Also, a special thank you to Elsie and Ken Doody and all other friends in Caribou, ME for their care and consideration for Bruce and his family.
    He was cremated at Lancaster & Morgan Funeral Home and his ashes will be kept at the Maine Veteran's Cemetery in Caribou.  
    The family will be holding a tribute to Bruce at Castle Park in Riverside, CA. on June 20, 2009 at 1:00 pm in the private room under the Big Top. There will be relatives and friends from around the country in attendance and others who knew him are encouraged to come and share their stories.
