ASHLAND – George W. Trusty, 78, beloved husband of Florence (Dionne) Trusty, died Nov. 25, 2008, at Maine Veterans Home in Caribou after a long illness. He was born in Caribou, July 5, 1930, the son of George M. and Yvonne (Michaud) Trusty. He worked for many years as a service representative at the Social Security Office in Presque Isle.
He is survived by one son, Ryan Trusty and his wife Alex of Portland; three daughters, Georgette Trusty of Bangor, Michelle Bowers of Presque Isle and Yvonne Edwards of Naples; two sisters, June Haffner of North Dakota and Dawn Devlin of Seattle, WA; 10 grandchildren.
