Walking hours
    Walking hours at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center are as follows. Monday through Friday 6 a.m.-9 p.m. and Saturdays 12-4 p.m. Hershey Track and Field
    Hershey Track and Field program is for youths ages 9-14 (as of 12/31/09) and meets Mondays-Thursdays from 3-5 p.m. beginning April 27. This program introduces youths to the basic fundamentals of running, throwing and jumping. Boys and girls participating in this program may be eligible to move onto the regional finals. Pre-registration is required for this program.
13-16-year-old summer baseball
    Application forms are now available for the Caribou Parks and Recreation Department’s 13-16-year-old summer baseball program. To be eligible, you must be 13 years of age before May 1, 2009 and not age 17 before May 1, 2009.
    A player who played last season and any new player must register each year to be eligible to play. All first year players must also bring a copy of their birth certificate. There is a registration fee of $15 for each player in the league. Applications must be completed and returned with the fee by May 22. Registration forms may be picked up at the Caribou Recreation Department. For further information please contact the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Department at 493-4224.
CRX
The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to advise that we have amended the Caribou Rec Xtreme programs grade requirements. New this year, the program will be for kids entering grades 7-10. CRX promotes lifetime sports such as hiking, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, camping and sometimes a combination of all.
