This weekend, Saturday, June 13, is the annual Shriners’ Tournament. The format is a four-person scramble and the cost is $50 per player. This is a great event with many fantastic prizes that supports a great cause! Make sure to come out and participate.
Tuesday, June 9 is the kickoff for the Tuesday Twilight League. The league fee is $25 and will go toward prizes and a dinner on the last night of the League. A handicap is required for League play. Make sure to get your team together soon.
If you are not a member at VaJoWa, now is the time to join. The membership special for a new member is $100 outside of 25 miles and $200 for those under 25 miles. A cart rental is required each time you play.
The fees for June for the public will be $35 for 18 holes and a cart and $20 for nine holes and a cart. The walking fee will be $20 for 18 holes or $10 for nine holes.
The weekly events have kicked off the summer.
Monday night at 5 is Couples Night. The format is alternate shot for nine holes and the cost is $5 per team for the prizes plus your green fees.
Thursday at any time is the Points Game, which is an individual event for nine holes. The cost is $5 per person for prizes.
Saturday at 9 a.m. is an 18-hole scramble. Teams will be random, but each team will get an ABC player. The cost for prizes for the scramble is $10.
For the month of June, anyone participating in these events will receive half off their green and cart fees for the event, including members.
