SAD 29 elementary students received a $500 grant and partnered with the Co-operative Extension Service and the Southern Aroostook Soil and Water Conservation District to plant some flower and vegetable gardens. Three raised beds have been put in place and filled with loam. Both students and staff are participating in the project.
