Aroostook County youth aged 8 to 12 are invited to join Maine Winter Sports Center staff for outdoor-based skills and fitness sessions with a focus on fun. Programs will be offered in Houlton, Presque Isle, Caribou, Madawaska, and Fort Kent, and will feature activities such as mountain biking, trail running, outdoor games, roller skiing, orienteering and more. Each location will host a six week program beginning the week of July 6. There is no fee to participate.

Starting June 29 until August 10, NHSC will lead a youth mountain bike program every Monday from 6-7:30 p.m. for youths ages 8-14. There is no cost, but a limited number of rental bikes are available for $5 per class.
Starting July 7 until August 11, NHSC will lead a youth adventure program every Tuesday starting at 6 p.m. for youths ages 8-14. Activities include biking, hiking, rollerskiing and games.
