People made Limestone Fourth of July Parade a success

To the editor:
I would like to thank the following individuals for helping organize this year’s Fourth of July Parade in Limestone: Carlie and Tom Marquis, Patrick and Jean Marie St. Peter, Fred Edgecomb, Jane Griffeth, Lisa Anderson, Michelle Albert, Bonnie Beaulieu and Gary O’Neal. These individuals were involved in either tracking down addresses for local businesses and organizations; mailing out 250-plus registration forms at short notice; making a variety of phone calls to confirm parade participation; and offering guidance and support.  I am extremely grateful for their assistance because without it, the parade would not have been as successful as it was.
I would also like to thank the Limestone Rotary Club (Fred Edgecomb, Dottie Martin, Cliff and Debbie Rhome, Pat and Larry Zenzius, David King, Shirley and Quinton Warne, Dan Sithole and Adam Kohler) for lining up the parade.  This is something that is not always an easy task, especially when dealing with 75-plus entries — some of which are tractor trailers, horses, bikes, bands, children, etc. – but they pull it all together very effortlessly and in the end, we had a great parade.
And finally, I would like to thank the businesses, organizations/clubs, and individuals that participated in the parade!  To be able to watch such a festive parade with family & friends, I sincerely believe make for a very memorable and spirited holiday – and with your participation, this becomes possible.
Again, thank you so much!  And have a wonderful summer!
