PORTLAND – Ruth L. Hull, 90, passed away July 3, 2009, after a long illness. She was born in Houlton July 27, 1918, to Pearl and Irving Lovely.
She graduated from Houlton High School. She worked at J.C.Penny in Houlton, where she met her future husband, Robert Hull. They were happily married for 60 years until his death in 2000. Ruth enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, making rugs, knitting, and needle point. She also worked for many years in retail. She is survived by a daughter, Candace Hull-Copp and a son, Donald and his wife Kathy. Ruth had six grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren; one great- great-grandchild; plus many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all.
A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Houlton, July 26, 2009, at 12 noon.
