Baseball tryout and hitting camp

Coast to Coast Baseball invites local players ages 10-18 to tryout for their organization.
At the tryout, Coast to Coast Baseball staff will evaluate a player’s skill in four areas — hitting, fielding, arm strength and speed. Players accepted into the program may choose to either represent the USA in competition in Puerto Rico or to work under top college coaches and pro scouts at a Florida or Arizona Camp and Showcase event held at a Major League Baseball spring-training complex.
In addition to the tryout, a three-hour hitting camp will be held the same day. The goal of the camp is to help players improving hitting fundamentals, as well as their mental approach at the plate.
The tryout will be held at 12 p.m., with hitting camp at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 20 at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor.
