An ATV Safety Course, sponsored by the Aroostook Riders ATV Club, will be held Saturday, July 18 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Hodgdon Fire Station. Lunch will be provided.
The course is for all ages, but a parent or guardian must accompany those attending 10-12 years of age through the program. Instructor is John Cleary.

The Houlton Rifle and Pistol Club will hold a potluck supper at the clubhouse on Sunday, July 19 to celebrate the end of the Winter Shoot. Following the supper, awards will be presented to the winners in various categories.
The group will also meet on Aug. 2 at the range located adjacent to the Houlton International Airport. The monthly meeting will start at 7 p.m. with recreational shooting to follow. All members are encouraged to attend.
