Keep in mind that the registration deadline for entries in Caribou’s greatest parade since its 100th birthday is Saturday, Aug. 15. This is a true deadline as parade organizers must be able to place floats where they need to be within the flow of the parade and time is also a big factor because of events scheduled to take place immediately following the parade,. This Sept. 5 event promises to be the largest and most diverse celebration parade to wind through the city streets of Caribou, full of marching bands, antique tractors, trucks, cars and floats created by area businesses and other organizations.
Think about what you could create as a group, as a family, by yourself — Caribou’s been around for 150 years, the possibilities are endless.
