Residents at the Presque Isle Rehab and Nursing Center were happy to have Christie Corey, director of the Pregnancy Care Center of Presque Isle, visit with them recently. The residents enjoyed Christie’s talk to them about the services provided by the center.
They also were happy to present Christie with some baby quilts they have been working on, complimented by sweater sets and pajama sets to help complete some layettes. Doing these projects for the PCC provides the residents with fun afternoons of socialization, a way to keep their “fingers nimble” and a great sense of fulfillment as they do something for others.
