Maine Partners for Cool Communities and local community leaders are hosting a smart energy forum in Houlton on Sept. 8 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the School for Applied Technology, 5 Bird St. It is free and open to the public.
Similar forums are also being held in Presque Isle at UMPI on Wednesday, Sept. 9 and Fort Kent at the Municipal Building on Thursday, Sept. 10. The times for all forums are 6-8:30 p.m.
The three smart energy forums are designed to help residents find out how they can get involved in planning and initiating energy saving solutions that also save money.
