 Image   Caribou – Alma E. Sirois, 93, wife of the late Charles Allen Sirois, died October 18, 2009 at Caribou. She was born in Caribou July 16, 1916, the daughter of the late Leonard and Rose Marie (Caron) LaForest. Mrs. Sirois was employed by the Caribou school Department as a cook at Caribou High School for over 32 years, 18 of those years as manager. She was a member of the Maine State, as well as the National American School Food Service Associations and had received numerous awards and certificates for her dedication and length of service to the school lunch program. She was a lifelong member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
    She is survived by four grandchildren, Daniel Sirois and his wife Lisa of Port St. Lucie Fl., Andrea Sirois of Caribou, Christopher Sirois of Raleigh, N.C and Bobbi Jo Sirois of Rhode Island; five great-grandchildren, Savanna, Alexis, Cassidy Rose, Caitlin and Jacob; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Sirois was predeceased by her husband Charles, and her son and daughter-in-law Charles “Ron” and Rosemary “Terri” Sirois.
    Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2009, until time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Parish of the Precious Blood Holy Rosary Catholic. Interment will be in the Old Holy Rosary Cemetery.
