    HOULTON – The following cases were heard in the District Court in Houlton during the month of October, 2009.
    Peter F. Ambrose, 28, Houlton: fugitive from justice, extradition ordered.
    Robert C. Apjohn, 43, Linneus: fugitive from justice, dismissed.     Daniel T. Bento Jr., 48, Kingman: operating ATV on public way, $100 fine.
    Keith A. Chubbuck, 33, Kingman: operating ATV on public way, $100 fine.
    Jonathan N. Cote, 28, Thetford Mines, Que.: illegal importation of scheduled drugs, dismissed; and possession of marijuana, $500 fine.
    Mark D. Drake, 26, Houlton: sale and use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.
    Carol Folsom, 38, Houlton: assault, $300 fine and 50 hours’ community service.
    Robin D. Gardner, 44, Smyrna Mills: operating while license suspended or revoked, $500 fine and 50 hours’ community service.
    Rodney J. Goddard, 63, Marion, Ind.: fishing without valid license, $100 fine.
    Ryan S. Hamer, 23, Durham, N.H.: fishing without valid license, $200 fine.
    Arthur F. Jipson, 55, Presque Isle: disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, dismissed.
    Derek W. Johnson, 50, Florence, N.B.: operating while license suspended or revoked, dismissed.
    Richard D. Lane, 57, Island Falls: burning without permit, $50 fine.
    David A. Langley, 55, Bangor: operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine.
    John A. Lunn, 44, Kensington, N.B.: rule violation, operating with false duty, $750 fine.
    Kenneth J. Maker, 22, Smyrna Mills: violating condition of release and terrorizing, six months in jail (each).
    Kevin B. Meade, 37, Riverview, N.B.: rule violation, operating with false duty, $750 fine.
    Richard L. Merritt, 53, Houlton: operating under the influence (two counts), $500 fine, 90 days in jail, all but seven days suspended and 90-day license suspension (first) and $500 fine, seven days in jail and 90-day license suspension (second); and violating condition of release, dismissed.
    Roger A. Michaud, 51, Eskasoni, N.S.: operating while license suspended or revoked, dismissed.
    Rachel L. Murphy, 27, Houlton: violating condition of release, dismissed.
    Bud L. Nason, 37, Island Falls: assault, $300 fine.
    Tammy Paquette, 34, Crystal: violating condition of release, dismissed.
    Casey Rairdon, 19, Houlton: driving to endanger, $575 fine, 30-day license suspension and 50 hours’ community service; and motor vehicle speeding 30-plus mph over speed limit, dismissed.
    Ricardo Roman, 31, Chicago, Ill.: unlawful possession of scheduled drug, filed on $500 costs.
    Dexter Shaw, 65, Houlton: domestic violence assault, $300 fine.
    Travis W. Sirois, 40, Houlton: disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures, 10 days in jail; and violating condition of release, dismissed.
    Peter F. Stevenson, 60, North Haven, Conn.: out of door burning violation, $100 fine.
    Susan G. Tardif, 50, Blaine: violating condition of release, 24 hours in jail.
    Andrew Walker, 25, Bucksport: unlawful possession of scheduled drug, filed on $500 costs.
    Lori West, 42, Linneus: endangering the welfare of a child, dismissed.
    Gregory E. Zarembo, 19, Durham, N.H.: minor consuming liquor, dismissed; operating without safety equipment and operating/permitting the operation of unregistered motorboat, $100 fine (each).
