Wind experts to speak at UMPI

    PRESQUE ISLE — Leaders Encouraging Aroostook Development (LEAD), Northern Maine Community College (NMCC) and the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) are hosting a December business breakfast featuring two wind experts. Kurt Adams, the executive vice president and chief development officer for First Wind, and Mr. Wayne Kilcollins, NMCC wind power technology instructor, will address the future of the wind business in Aroostook County, beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 2, in the UMPI Campus Center.
