Ark fund-raiser Saturday

    Ark Animal Sanctuary will hold a Christmas Fund-raiser Saturday, Dec. 5 at Hollywood Pet Salon and on Mechanic St. in Houlton beginning at 10 a.m.
    A variety of  food will be available for purchase including baked beans, chili, homemade breads, rolls, pulled pork, cookies, desserts and homemade candy. Events include pictures with Santa, Christmas trees and wreaths for sale, a craft fair, silent auction, carriage rides, carolers and a Giving Tree. Also, there will be fire pits, hot coffee, warm cider and hot chocolate available.
    There will also be pets on hand for adoption.
