Letter Policy

    The Star-Herald welcomes letters to the editor.
    Letters must be typed or neatly handwritten. There should be no more than one typewritten page. Longer letters may be considered as guest columns.     All letters must be signed and bear an address and phone number for verification. Anonymous or third party letters will not be printed. Deadline for letters is Friday at 5 p.m. Letters can also  be sent via the Internet at “starherald@nepublish.com”
    Letters will be edited for space, clarity and libel.
