    Clayton, Wallace Clair, LITHIA SPRINGS, Ga & MARS HILL, January 26, 2010. Spring interment took place at National Cemetery Canton, Ga with full military honors. 

 

ImageWallace Clair Clayton of LITHIA SPRINGS, GA died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at his residence. He grew up in Robinson, Mars Hill area.
    He graduated from ACI High School, Husson College and University of Georgia Law School. He served in the Korean War Campaign. He was an attorney in Marietta, Georgia, retired.
    He was born the son of Wallace Carter Clayton and Arline Maybelle Weeks Clayton. He is survived by his wife Lynda May Clayton; daughter Susan Clair Clayton Fiddler and son-in-law Todd Fiddler of Colorado; sons, Carter Clayton and daughter-in-law Loren Clayton of Atlanta, GA; son Lee Clayton; daughter-in-law Hastings Clayton of Atlanta, GA; three brothers and their wives, Harry Miles Clayton and Lucille of Shelburn, VT and Titasville, FL; Kerry Bryce Clayton and Leah of Eustis, ME; Jon Alan Clayton and Rhona of Robinson, ME; five sisters, Marlene Upton and Stephen Sr. of Bridgewater, ME; Judy Belk and Bill of Caribou and LaBelle, FL; Joan Lothrop and Bill, of Presque Isle, ME and Naples, FL; Janet Clayton of Naples, FL; Jane Ann Crouse and Arthur of Presque Isle; grandchildren Jon and Andy of Colorado; Riley Clair of Atlanta, GA; and many nieces and nephews.
    Interment took place January 28, 2010 in Georgia National Cemetery Canton, GA with full military honors.
