To the editor:
I wish to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to the members of the Perham Ladies Group for their undaunting efforts with their recent door-to-door fund-raiser on behalf of the Williams family. Through their collective efforts, they were able to reach their goal in record time, thus stopping the town of Perham from foreclosing on our family home. I wish to thank all who contributed to the Perham Ladies Group on our behalf. The generosity of the community was unbelievable. You persevered when I was ready to give up. Words cannot express our thanks to everyone involved with this endeavor.
I also appreciate those who offered their support during and following my recent surgery. Special thanks go out to those who plowed us out in the early morning hours on the day of surgery, opened their home to my children on the day of surgery, dropped off meals to my children while I was still in the hospital, dropped off groceries so I wouldn’t have to go out, offered to do shopping for me, and for those who called to see how I am doing.
